Education

Whether we are parents, grandparents, community volunteers, business people, active military, clergy, politicians, teachers, doctors, or nurses, we all have a critical interest in education especially for our own children!
El Paso has a variety of excellent private and public schools. Magnet schools with specialized curricula such as Health Sciences, Theater Arts, the International Baccalaureate Program, Advanced Placement classes, and classes at El Paso Community College with full high school and college credit. Charter schools in El Paso are having a positive impact also. El Paso high school graduates attend Ivy League, PAC-10, Big 12, ACC, and other universities throughout the world.

In Elementary Schools the Dual Language Programs offered at selected schools are most popular with parents in El Paso. In Middle Schools the Gifted and Talented programs continue to attract bright students and the programs prepare students for high school classes.

The easiest way to review and analyze the different schools in El Paso is to check out
Great Schools and fill in the name of the school you would like to research. You could check with the El Paso Independent School District, Ysleta Independent School District (in East and Northeast El Paso), Socorro Independent School District (in Far East El Paso), and the Canutillo Independent School District for a complete school list and then review and analyze the schools which could be options for your student. You may check schools on the East, West, South, Central or Northeast part of El Paso.
